01Who we are
FERU Properties (“FERU”, “we”, “us”) is a real estate agency based in Dubai, operated by [Company legal name], at Office 56, 11th Floor, The Office at Battuta Gate Building, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through feru.properties.
02What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, what you are interested in and your message, when you use the contact form.
- Property assessment: your answers to the six questions (goal, budget, timing, funding, property type and where you are based), with your name, email and phone if you request a shortlist.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, Telegram, Instagram or phone.
Like any website, the server that hosts this site keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep it secure and running. We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
03How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare the shortlist, valuation or advice you asked for.
- To arrange viewings and, if you go ahead, to carry out the purchase, sale, lease or management of a property.
- To meet our legal obligations as a licensed real estate broker, including record keeping and anti-money-laundering checks.
- To send you occasional property updates, only if you have asked us to. You can stop them at any time.
04Our legal basis
We handle your information in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. We rely on your consent, on the steps needed before and during an agreement with you, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.
05Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where needed:
- With the company that hosts our website and email, whose servers store and deliver your messages to us.
- With developers, sellers, landlords, banks, mortgage advisors, conveyancers and the Dubai Land Department, when you ask us to go ahead with a transaction.
- With authorities, when the law requires it.
06International transfers
Some of the services we use may store data outside the UAE. When that happens we choose providers that protect it to a standard comparable with UAE law.
07How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and assessment results for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Records of completed transactions are kept for as long as UAE law requires. After that, the information is deleted or anonymised.
08Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it for updates. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@feru.properties and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office or to your local data protection authority.
09Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to your information is limited to the people at FERU who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
10Children
This website is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
